Just some thoughts

I have been writing for you a character that I have had in my mind for a few years now. Callie is someone that is close to me, and I need your opinion about her. Callie is a hunter that kills monsters for a living. She rides a motorcycle and wears leather. I am not sure she is perfect yet, but I wanted to know what you all thought of her.

Please let me know what you think. I will continue to give you journal entries so that you can get to know Callie more if that will help decide about her. I really want to write a series with her in it.

On a side note, I am also trying to write a screenplay, and I will update about that as soon as school starts for me in February. I just want to write stories that will give people joy and happiness to read. I want the reader hooked and can’t stop reading. I hope you understand that I can’t give you all of the stories, but for now, Callie’s Journal will have to do.

Thank you for your help and understanding about my stories. Please let me know what you think about my story, and I will try and take into consideration what you comment about. Again thank you.

A Movie Review

I recently went to see the movie Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In all honesty, I would like to give this film a 4.5 out of 5 stars, because it was just the right amount of everything that makes a movie worth watching.

I loved how Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson were so in sync with their counterparts in the real world. Dwayne Johnson pulled off the being scared and nerdy guy while trying to be the macho guy without really knowing how. Kevin Hart’s comedic timing always made me laugh. Jack Black acting like a girl was hilarious. He pulled it off and made the movie more fun. Karen Gillan made us believe that she didn’t know how to be a hot girl. I loved the part where she was trying to flirt.

I was stoked about the storyline and how it had throwbacks to the original. I liked that the story flowed even though at points it could be cheesy, but what PG-13 movie isn’t. The characters were well done, but I think there could have been a little bit more work done here. The soundtrack was excellent and made you feel like you were a part of the movie.

The thing that I didn’t like about the movie was Van Pelt and how he wasn’t true to the character. I know they were trying to modernize the film, but this could have been better thought out. He was more of an older distinguished gentleman than the young power hungry man they portrayed him as.

Other than that the movie was great. I recommend you go and see it if you haven’t. I think this is worth going to see just to see Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black be their characters and make us laugh in the process.

Callie’s 1st Journal Entry

As I sit here and think my mind wanders back to when my brother was kidnapped. I don’t think he will remember me, but I will make it my quest to find him. I don’t know if he is alive, but I hope he is. I have trained all of my life to be a hunter, and I have killed my fair share of monsters. I mean real monsters. I have killed vampires, werewolves, hybrids, and shifters. I have come across many more.

I don’t know what happened to Doryan, but I hope he remembers me. Doryan is my older brother, and he was my best friend. Our parents never got over the loss of Doryan. They committed suicide when I was twelve they both overdosed on painkillers. I found them on their bed. I ran away and started training to be the hunter I am now. I have told myself that I am going to journal more. I need to let out the emotions somehow. No one wants to hear my stories and woes. So I will try my best to continue my story with you my dear friend, my journal.

Goodnight.

Callie
